The Wicket Inn is situated along a country lane in the heart of rural Staffordshire, 2 miles from the village of Hixon and 3 miles from Abbots Bromley. It is only a 15 minute drive from the county town of Stafford or the market town of Uttoxeter. Also in easy reach are Rugeley, Lichfield, Cannock, Stone, Stoke and the Potteries. Local places to visit include the Shugborough Estate and County Museum, the potteries, historic Lichfield, Uttoxeter Races, the Abbots Bromley Horn Dance and Ammerton Working Farm.
